NBN Albury POI Unplanned Outage

The is a connectivity issue to the Albury NBN Point Of Interconnect. All services for Albury and surrounding areas are experiencing the outage. Carrier Techs are investigating the issue.

Falls Creek Unplanned Outage

The Telstra fibre backhaul for Falls Creek has been cut due to bushfires in the region.

This area is declared as a red zone due to high fire risk – no tech engagement until further notice.

Fibre fault area is still declared as “NO GO ZONE” due to bush fire incident.

A Telstra technician attempted to attend the task, but access has been hampered due to road closure. Tech will try again when road access has been cleared.

A Telstra technician has arrived onsite and has begun investigating the fault.

Update: 13 Jan 2026 18:18:13 AEDT
Fibre team have been engaged and working on this fault at the site. Digging requires an excavator, which will be at site tomorrow Wed 14/01.

Techs have repaired the fibre cable and service is now operational.
